"A Capital of Gates, Museums & Neighborhoods"
Berlin wears its history in public. The Brandenburg Gate opens onto the rebuilt Reichstag and the Tiergarten, Museum Island holds a run of heavyweight collections, and the East Side Gallery keeps a stretch of the Wall as art. Neighborhoods do the rest: cafe streets in Prenzlauer Berg, nightlife in Kreuzberg, and palaces at Charlottenburg or Potsdam. It is larger and rougher-edged than Munich, usually a bit cheaper, and best with at least four days.
